The Black Iron Bedpost |
A place of Sabbath. |
For the past five years, I’ve been writing emails to my son. Shortly after he was born in 2007, I created an email account in his name so I could write to him throughout his childhood and then turn the account over to him when he was of age. Upon opening the account for the first time, he’d be greeted with an archive of his childhood as seen through his father’s eyes.
Wow. Just… Wow.
If you think I didn’t set this up and start doing the same for Beatrix immediately upon reading this you are fooling yourself. Best. Idea. Ever.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to find the tissues. I think I have something in my eyes.
So awesome!
How I do wish… Grandchildren, maybe?

I’ve been doing this for a little while.
I saw this on a Google commercial. Nonetheless, it’s an awesome idea. Not as messy as scrapbooks.
Now THIS I might just have to do for my recently born son!
